How to share your images AND help boost your photographer's following!

Good Morning everyone!!

One thing I have been wanting to blog about is how you, as a client, can help your photographer out when it comes to gaining them more business and more of a following. With the massive amount of places online where photos can be seen, us photographers have had to find new ways to stand out and attract more people.

I will focus mostly on Facebook, mainly because that's where I gain most access to new clients! Facebook has made it so easy to share, connect, and interact with our friends and family! I LOVE that about Facebook :) From the business side, Facebook has also done a great job helping small business owners reach potential clients. One thing that I have noticed though, is gaining likes on albums and photos can be a struggle sometimes! Like and Followers are NOT everything, however, when people come to look at my work, it really helps seeing a lot of traffic on my page as well has Like and Follows.

A way that you guys can help is by tagging yourself in the actual photo on my page! I tend to tag clients myself, but with privacy settings sometimes I can not. The reason why tagging helps out us photographers so much, is because now the photo stays attached to our page, rather than yours. So basically, when someone likes the photo of you, its a like on our page versus a like on yours!

I want to point out though, I LOVE when clients share the photos onto their pages! It reassures me they are pleased and excited to show everyone the photos of them!! Still though, it usually ends in us getting only 5 or 6 likes on a photo versus the 50+ on yours!! Not to sound jealous ;)

This is by no means a requirement, and my feelings never get hurt when people don't tag themselves. I just wanted to help educate anyone who was looking for way to help their photographers gain more clients and followers!!

I hope you guys found this helpful!!

Thank you to everyone who continues to share and support my work!! I love all of you!!
